Something "Untitled" that I wrote

I don't know if this is a poem or a verse....It may very well be both...but I had it on my mind...Let me know what you think....It's Untitled for the moment. Excuse the N.O. slang....I'll be happy to explain if questioned. The next blog will talk about my views on the subject matter of this very prose....So check it out!

Another great plot to fill a grave plot
Grow up and rise

A waste
A statement says "He'll never be replaced"
But couple months wait
And they got a fresh face
And he comes from a place
With a higher murder rate
Let's put him on the block before his release date
Another cycle of hate and it don't seem right

Introduction

Hello,


My name is Christopher Blount....I am....well I'm many things. I wanted to create a blog because I feel that this would be a great outlet to chonicle my thoughts, dreams, ambitions, rants, and whatever other crap I decided to put on here. I don't really know how to start...I've never been great at introductions so I'll give a little info on me...Let's start shall we:

I'm a 28 year old black man originally from New Orleans but I currently reside in Chicago with my wife Brandi and my newborn child Christopher Johnathan Blount (You'll hear about them later). I work at the Four Seasons Hotel as a hotel operator. I'm somewhat into hip-hop...not as much as I used to be but my need to create will never die....I guess you can say I'm a rapper but I don't think that "rap" defines my life. I love to write (hence the blog) I can be a bit lazy but when I'm determined I tend to do well. I think (and some others) that I'm a pretty funny and entertaining person. I'm currently teaching myself the art of Screenwriting. I like it so far but I need to dedicate my time into learning the craft so I can develope this sitcom that I've always wanted to do. My life can be quite mundane and predictable which I'm pretty cool with for now but my imagination runs wild....It's crazy the stuff one thinks of in the mindst of boredom.....but alas...I'll get into all those thoughts later.


Like everyone else I'm a person with many sides so depending on the situation and who you know you can hear a vast assortment of opinions about what I am like....I haven't quite hit the nail on the coffin when it comes to the definition of me but I can say that I am deeply conflicted from time to time. I like to think I'm cooler than I really am. I embrace my inner "Geek-Hippie". I honestly don't know what to say at this moment but I'll keep posting stuff as it comes to mind. More picture will come. I promise....
